kmxexii DC's sound is synthelicious analog. Sometimes it's chill as with the dreamy "Return to Earth" and sci-fi soundtrack of "Achievement"; in others, like the outrun of "Open Gates" (my favorite) or "Portalzzz" with its rapid, complex lead, it's dark. "Miami" is fun, uptight funk underlaid with a simple guitar line that sounds a more active pace. "Summer" is an interesting track with its reverberating, twangy notes and rigid arrangement evoking to me a winter wonderland more than the sound of summer. Favorite track: Open The Gates.

Matt Kwid Extremely cohesive album, with excellent layering and memorable melodies. David Klug's production work also helps make it shine. Nice job. Favorite track: Return To Earth.

about

And so our special series in free releases continues.
It is a pretty special moment when a collection of music makes you feel nostalgic…these rare glimpses into the past are harder and harder to come by in a world full of imitation.
Picture sitting on your bedroom floor playing ’Streets Of Rage,’ listening to awesome 8-bit music followed by epic adventures on Planet Mongo with Flash…this is Dallas!

Dallas Campbell is a hardware junkie, self-certified ‘gear nerd’ and Master of the Synths. Warm, analogy goodness is what we love at DhARMA and Dallas nestles in as if we have known him a lifetime.

Geoff Hoskinson designed the wicked art and David Klug mastered the music!
